About me

A short intro

Over the past two decades, I'm proud to have worn many hats in a wide range of roles across technology - both as an individual contributor and as leader. I have tons of experience in areas such as App Dev, Devops, Cloud, Systems Architecture, Data Analytics, Product Management and UX Design. My work has contributed a great deal to the growth of leading UK technology companies such as Cloudreach, Computacenter, and Lumison (now Plusant). I prefer a hands-on apporach to leadership and despite the many grey hairs, I still have an unquenchable thirst for learning and a craving to understand how things work.

A highlight of my career was playing a crucial role in Cloudreach's evolution from a small startup to Europe's premier Cloud Systems Integrator. Early on, I led some of the forefront Cloud Migration projects, significantly impacting blue-chip companies like BP, Kantar, Kempinski Hotels, Telegraph, WHSmith and many more. After the acquisition of Cloudreach by Blackstone in 2017 and as part of the senior leadership, I've founded the first dedicated product functions to help power the company's growth by codifying the repeatable patterns and best practices of our high quality consulting work into a suite of software products and services.

In recent years I've also co-founded a B2B SaaS Startup, and consulted for several companies in the UK and abroad.

Today I'm focused on leading Product Development at uqudo, a Dubai based Digital Identity company that is revolulutionising KYC and Identity Verification in the Middle East and Africa. We are building a suite of products that will help businesses in the region to onboard customers faster, more securely and with a better user experience.

Life Beyond Work

Outside of work, I am a dedicated father and husband. I'm also an aviation enthusiast pretending to be an Airbus 320 pilot on Microsoft Flight Simulator in VR. I'm a huge football fan and a lifelong supporter of the illustrious Arsenal.
